Fear of killing your product that you have worked so hard and long on has multiple facets. Many team members feel like they will be killed right along with the project they kill so they keep it alive as long as possible. By making it something to be proud of and awarded it removes a crucial boundary necessary for team success and growth

Creativity doesn’t happen in a vacuum. Some of the most innovative ideas come from the intersection of different perspectives. I’ve found that encouraging cross-functional collaboration—between product, engineering, marketing, and customer insights—often leads to unexpected breakthroughs. When teams with diverse expertise collaborate, they approach problems from different angles, leading to more creative and holistic solutions.
